EAT.PRAY.HUSTLE - Day 4

You Can't Shake It: Gravitational

Today we're talking about how at times a dream can seem to wrap its arms around us and not let us go. No matter how far away we are from it, we are still pulled in its direction.

OUR ORIGINAL STORYLINE

The Bible says, “God created mankind in his own image.” (See Genesis 1:27) It also says when we were formed in our mother’s womb He was watching our development (Psalm 139:13). Sometimes that reality can seem so out of reach. It’s hard to imagine we are so personalized when there are billions of us on this planet. And yet, it only takes one encounter with God to know you’ve been created to be known and loved by Him.

Acts 13:36 (NIV) "Now when David had served God's purpose in his own generation, he fell asleep; he was buried with his ancestors and his body decayed."

GET BUSY TRUSTING GOD

The beauty of Abram’s story took off at a specific point. He got busy trusting God in what He could do and stopped worrying about what he couldn’t. Merely focusing on overcoming doubt can be a distraction to living a lifestyle of trust.

MAIN THOUGHTS:

  • Dreams bring us back to our original storyline

  • The dream holds the hope

  • Get busy trusting God
